Godzilla might enjoy a keg of radiation, but he is an environmentalist at heart. He saved the earth from the Smog Monster (Hedora) and was instrumental in sending a message against nuclear testing on small islands in both “Godzilla v. the Sea Monster” and “Son of Godzilla”.
“Tomato Pulp”, a self-described short exploitation film, is best summed up during the final credits that show a chef assembling a dish of spaghetti pomodoro.
Classic thriller films have gone the way of 8-track tapes, and it is near impossible to find a modern representation of this genre without becoming overwhelmed with special effects. The end result tends to be a far less engaging and believable as the viewers are asked to buy into incredulous twists that send the film that is wholly inconceivable.
Everyone is speaking of Kim Novak and her questionable surgical alternation, which is unfortunate since I like to think of her as a rather memorable actress.
I have always been curious about people who have over 300 – 1000+ Facebook friends. It is already difficult to read my newsfeed with the few friends I do have, especially since Facebook likes to interrupt and confuse my sessions with their horrible advertisements and status/updates that are listed without regard for date and time. While the trend might be to impress others by having many Facebook connections, consider the possibility that opening your personal information, photographs and status updates is comparable to allowing both friends and acquaintances to rifle through your computer or purse.
Not all ghosts are created equal. Or, at least, the French variety seems to offer so much more than your standard house possession. French comedy “Poltergay” mixes scary and stylish, but American audience will never know unless you buy the PAL2 DVD, which will not play on your standard machine. So meanwhile, enjoy this …

During that phase of my life when I dabbled with fundie-style Christianity, I remember others lamenting the lack of faith-based films. Of course it was during this stage that I made several of my own films, although I aggressively went down the path of disjointed pathos, murder and decadence in stark black and white, reminiscent of Marguerite Duras. Dipping my toes into Christian tales was never an option or preference. I never felt that faith had anything to do with my choice of film style, and I personally abhorred most Christian films that were aired during church events.
