While there are many films that try so very hard to convey a message about prejudice, director Gabriele Salvatores’ short film “Stella” does a better job than most. Playing on the our own preconceived notions, Salvatores uses eyes to relate a telling message, swiftly and beautifully delivered. There are enough subtleties in the film, translated through dialogue and nuanced acting, to deliver the film’s final punch.
“Stella” is beautifully shot and directed.
