Earth, Wind and Fire had a better view of mankind and its possibilities than most. Considering the current state of the world, “That’s The Way Of The World” is probably as poignant as it is lovely. Light, lyrical and soulful, this is classic EWF from their best album of the same name. The lyrics, in fact, were so good that I used them in a Catholic school project that seemed to set a nun’s pulse racing.
I used to think that listening to this song brought good luck to the San Francisco Giants. But they really sucked back in the day so I probably just used this logic as an excuse to put this song on endless repeat.
